I have 3 Android devices that travel with myself and my wife. Charge this up and it will extend my Asus Eee Pad Transformer to double the 8.5 usual hours of run time. Had this product a few days now, charged my samsung droid charge twice and the unit is still at 4/5 bars of battery capacity. Works as advertised, seems like a solid product, well made. Looking forward to using it on an upcoming vacation with a lot of flying!

Only four stars - because my Samsung Epic Touch (Galaxy SII) sometimes freaks out with the touch screen while it is plugged in. Not 100% sure why - but I switched out cables for the original and still happened - the only thing different is this block from original manufacture. Looks like my OEM version - but not quite there.But - I normally don't plug in and interact with my phone - I charge it at night or at work - so ... great price on a 1000mA charger. I am very happy with it..

It works fantastic. yes it is cheap plastic with an led light. It has two functional plugs and a fuse. I'm not sure why one would complain if they received a bum unit right outta the box. You know where it's made and if you actually get past the cell phones at radio shack you may discover a way to fix yours. Maybe even build your own! Crazy, I know. Nice looking external backup battery charger, but I did have an out-of-the-box problem.After charging the device, I connected it to my Kindle Fire using the micro-USB adapter and the universal USB cable/connector supplied, pressed the "On" button, and ... NOTHING! The device would not recognize, or "talk" to, my Kindle. It detected no device requiring a charge to be connected and shut down (as it is designed to do).I suspected a connection problem (I try to think of the most obvious problems and potential solutions first) so I substituted the cable assembly that came with the charger with a USB/micro-USB data transfer cable that I'd purchased separately at an earlier time. VOILA ... everything worked just fine!! Just as I'd suspected (and HOPED!) the problem was a simple cable issue ... NOT that one should EXPECT to experience ANY out-of-the-box problems!Once my start-up problem was resolved, the charger worked like a charm! It charged my Kindle Fire from 15% to 100% in the same amount of time that it would take to charge it using its AC charger, consuming only about 50% of the capacity of the EZO Charger.The only other issue with this charger were the instructions ... they're tough to digest and understand (not that there's all that much to learn). Nice product for charging USB devices while traveling. The various international plugs snap on and off the main body easily. It worked with an older iPod Nano and an iPhone 4, but unfortunately, would not charge my Asus Transformer Prime tablet, so I can only give it 3 stars. If it charged the Prime, I would give it 5 stars.
